I have no idea what it is about UT fans that make them feel they have to blame someone for every loss. If you think coaching was a problem, then I am not sure you know the difference between football and softball. Dooley had the ONLY gameplan that could possibly beat Bama. Load up on their run, and shorten the game. If you think Dooley should have "adjusted" at halftime, what adjustments would you make? Maybe a nickle D? Be serious. Dooley stopped their strength and made them rely on their weakness, the passing game. Jesus, McCarron threw 6 horrible passes that gained big yards. 3 to Hanks and 3 to RBs coming out of the backfield. We had one chance, and that was to make McCarron make a mistake, he didn't. If you think we would have been in that game at all if we hadn't dedicated to stop the run you are crazy. And yes, Simms is not good, but I don't recall seeing many, if any open receivers all game. People need to realize that we are behind on talent and experience. And no, Saban could not win with our team, so quit blamming Dooley, or accept that we will be the Bama of the 90's, switching coaches every other year because no one is good enough for us.

Im not one to blame individuals for losses... but... Simms is a kamikaze. I am sure he didn't see any wide receiver(yes one, because that is all he looks at) open either.

We shouldn't have won this game and we didn't... ppl need to get over it.

Don't like your post tho OP.

Spot on. Do you care if I copy and use this somewhere else?

I agree ne one that thought mccarron would of came out in the third quarter an look like manning is crazy! We stopped the run and made them pass they happened to complete them! There was no need for changes because we were doing our game plan perfect! Boone guessed that mccarron would come out lights out after looking shaky at best in the first half

You're the delusional one. Dooley isn't taking us anywhere. That's not being a negavol, that's being realistic

You are right EaglesVol, a better coach would have coached our guys into being 40lbs heavier, 3 inches taller and 3 steps faster. Thanks for your insight.

I'm sick to death of people crying about half time adjustments. Most of these people have never been in a locker room at half time.

mccarron sure got a lot of help from his receivers. there were some good catches.

not quite like what we have seen from our receivers in the last few games.
