There has been a significant uptick in the numbers of 'near misses' and other incidents in recent years however. IMHO, we have been fortunate to date that it hasn't been any worse. Again, my opinion only, but I think the industry is growing too fast. Experience is leaving each of the majors at the rate of some 10 million flight hours at each major PER YEAR for the foreseeable future. That experience is replaced with a fraction of that.

And now you've got plane builders like Boeing prioritizing and promoting diversity rather than purely skill and experience, leading to doors blowing off planes mid-flight.

I dont remember if he was a front runner but was in serious contention, but as a result they got tank boy..

I do seem to recall the Dems saying they lost the general because of this faux pas..
