If we are looking for a “bump” we should hire Michael Irvin.

Keeping Inge was surprising. Our LB play was really, really bad this year. But Heupel gets to pick what he thinks is best. Hope it works.

Other than that question, great pickups by Heupel.

It was Knowles' choice. He and inge had a connection.

Just read Chop is leaving, sorry if already reported. Said he was a good recruiter and was instrumental in getting some top rated players. Makes it surprising that Knowles would let him go with the risk of losing recruits but he my have that covered.

Even more of a concern....the same thing happened with some of our DBs. We need a serious upgrade in size and strength to be sure, but we desperately need more speed, too. How we got to this point in year 5 under Heupel blows my mind. Still say this staff is very suspect in evaluation.

The punt team and Ross was pretty good, but we never have any wrinkles or ever try a fake punt. The FG team was not good, especially in clutch moments. Special teams can change a game and we don’t seem to be interested in making them a strong point of the team. When is the last time we blocked FG or punt?

And I think I could have gotten off the couch and ran with Dodson on that one. Thought maybe he was a young TE. Shocked that he's one of our WRs.

He did help sign some top DEs, but $$$ is what closes the deal. Was not very good at instructing and was not well liked.
