1st Post, 3-Yr avid reader with a question I asked back in early Sep with no response...guess I got my anwser in Death Valley last week...Wow! BTW my question was related to some of Dooley's comments during preseason...

"Here's the thing that concerns me a bit. CDD states that we plan use many packages in hopes to have the best package for a given oppenent/specific down and distance.

Big question, will we be able to make the changes against the no huddle? Will we get REALLY exposed against a team that hurries up to the line?"

Ouch!!!! Wonder if an adjustment to the number of packages, especially in the red zone, will change after last week?

Agreed, but we do have to worry about our ability to match our D packages against everybody elsse on our schedule...especially now!

Seems to rear it's head inside the red zone.
Communication between coaches and players on field have to improve and the D QB has to do some quality assurance out there.

Saving TOs help as well.

defensive coordination must improve as we have had multiple issues getting the right number of players on the field...i haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but take a look at the last play saturday...i only count 10 players on defense for the last play of the game..does anyone else count 11, surely i missed one, surely!

You're the only one in the nation that counted 10. Everyone else saw 13.
