BYU game will be a clue. UF game will be a sign. If the DL holds up in those two games, and stays healthy, we'll be ok against most of our schedule. If not, then 6-6 is the goal.

I think 6-6 is what we achieve regardless. The secondary should be good. LBs and the DL will be the trouble spots.

The main reason these rebuilds have taken a lot of time, as will this one, is that when you are weak on the line of scrimmage, it just can’t be fixed overnight.

Even if you nail it on the recruiting trail, the guys at those positions need a couple of years to be at the level they need to be in order to succeed.

Look for flashes of things to come from the young guys and hope that as a group these guys can hold their own and stalemate opposing offensive lines

I think our top 5 or so guys will be fine but I'm not so sure after that. We should see a player or two make a huge leap in performance from year to year. We just don't know who those person(s) are yet.

LB’s will be stout...at least by the end of the season. Maybe...MAYBE early growing pains. Our DL finally look like players that Pruitt recruits...that’s a step.

Hopefully, Savion and Solomon (if eligible) might ease the transition. We won't be dominate in the interior but we can be adequate if those two players and some younger players step up.

Guys... its pretty clear to see that all of our Dline starters will be transfers.. no need for any "projections"

The Simmons kid may end up being a sleeper. I wouldn't count him out. His athleticism is significant for a youngster his size, he can move, although I'm not sure somebody playing NT ought to be moving alot unless bull rushing OLs into the backfield. He could be a Barnett type, comes in and surprises the heck out of folks.
