Defense Saved Us

Defense gets an A..offense deserves a D. ST got us 14 against SC..if not for 4 turnovers tonight we have a game. Offense must find it's QB now for the final 3 and ride or die with him. I think that it's BM. JMO.

..
Agreed. Not sure I ride or die with him but I get real close. I can only say with certainty that in my eyes I know who it is not.

Lol...I promise you they're not.
I guess I just have more confidence in the fan base than you do. I think they know what they see when they see it.
Glad you are here for this question GaVol whom i have much respect for.
Just how smart do you think it was for Pruitt to start JG and even leave him in there hit after hit knowing it was very possible to be injured even worse since when a person gets hit to the ground it is just natural for him to brace himself with is hand on the ground first. That is just mind boggling to me. So you think that was a smart move on Pruitts part ? Also, did you notice JG holding his left hand after he fell on it ? Did you notice how he was holding it up on the sideline ?

he said in post presser he hadn't has enough reps this week so they held him out.
And once again contradicted himself just like he did labeling Maurers “concussions” before being properly evaluated. He said yesterday that he split the reps 50% Shrout 40% Maurer and 10% JG throughout the week. 🤔

I'm confused why they unleashed Shrout against uscjr but held him back this game 🤷
Met a fellow UT fan here in Nashville tonight. He seems to think Maurer is done for the season.

Well, maybe he was fudging the truth some and doesn't want to advertise his plans for the next game. All I know is what he said.

Sing it Loud, Sing it clear good buddy. Time to start calling out the falsehoods being thrown at the Vol fans. Better make sure your not drinking the Orange Koolaide of Jeremy Pruitt. Red Flags are waving.

I like Pruitt, don’t get it twisted, but he’s not a very good liar. His plan outlines are being drawn for all to see if you only pay attention. He’s working an agenda.

By the comment he made trying to convince everyone that JG is best QBs on the roster once again I’d say he wants JG to start again.
But why would he do that if he doesn't believe it? Do you think he wants to lose? I think he pulled JT because he doesn't want him developing bad habits.

Not getting anything twisted. I just don't like what he is doing with JT and especially don't like his cover up. We're not that stupid. He's also taught me not to believe a lot of what he is saying until it is proved because to me he is proving the opposite of a lot of what he says.

I’m not completely talking about tonight. I actually believe JG was the more sure chance to win over JTS. I’ll believe that going forward as well. But I also believe that this was a perfect game to leave JTS in for teaching moments. I think we beat them with either qb. I’m talking about the commutators saying they were told this week by Pruitt that JG is the best QB on the roster again. I along with 90% of VN have already seen enough to know better.

And he said it again in the post game presser. I don't know what the heck to think. Not a coach and sure never played.

I think he may want to reconsider his tactics before the most important position in all of sports is in jeopardy going forward.

Kentucky is going to be a tough one to win. If that big nose guard is healthy then there will be no pocket to step up in. This would have been the perfect game to let JT get experience in in case he had to go in at Kentucky. Tonight was a bad decision imo and Pruitt may pay the price for not letting JT get the experience he needed tonight. If that happens and we lose it's all on Pruitt imo. NO EXCUSES
As Opie said "pa said Barney made his bed let him sleep in it"

My guess is that he had no intentions of playing him unless things got out of control and he felt like he had to.

Hopefully he’s ready and starts next week. And hopefully is able to make it through a complete game staying healthy.

If that's the case he should have played some today. He gona be rusty not played in 3 games

He is a coach and was a player. He's pulling stuff out of the thin air. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck then most likely it is a duck ! Anymore when I hear him say that stuff I just hear quack quack. No more for me.

I know it's not jg but Pruitt still says jg the best, I cant believe he still thinks that. Jg puts so much more pressure on ol, cause he is so slow to react

I"ll just ask this. Has Pruitt really learned his lesson from spring camp and summer workouts as well as fall camp ?
Is he still clueless ? You say no. Well here we are maybe down to just one QB ready and in his mind nobody even near JG in competition and yet tonight before we play Kentucky we play a team that we could get JT or BM experience in but no, no, can't do that. Has Pruitt learned any lessons at all. Is he just that hard headed ? Apparently or he just can't see the forest for the trees and that is not a good kind of coach.

He is going to ruin a potentially great qb in shrout. He will start waiting till they are wide open like jg does before he throws. Cause he knows if he throws int he will get pulled.all good qb throw into tight windows.and many throw across their bodies.
