Jancek is not really of the bend but don't break philosophy. He's not blitz-happy either, but rather picks his spots, which you can do when you have 2 man-eaters at your DE spits, and which allows CJJ to be aggressive with his back 7. And with the DTs we have coming in this class and the experience if the returners, it's going to allow CJJ to be very aggressive. I can't wait to watch this defense develop over the course of the season.

Pretty exciting. But something here bothers me. Development! I hope we are developed quite well when we go to the dang swamp. Can't handle losing there again b/c our team does not look battle ready, while the Gators play like they are in their 7th game of the season.

A lot of young talent here, so I understand. But I'm tired of the above crap!

I'd like us at the end of the season to be called, "The first Tennessee team to go unscored upon for an entire season since General Neyland's 1939 team", but that's hard to condense into a few words.

Right now? "Spring Roosters"

But I hope by October "Bricks & Licks" will be a reasonable contender.

I actually like the "Flying Bricks" defense better... but some frats (and the occasional QB) have proven a little too highly suggestible to let fly with that moniker. :whistling:

Orange crush has been used by us and the Denver broncos before.

I don't want to see anyone from any team hurt but I think starting this season we'll see some of our opponents helped off the field a lot more.

I still like Big Orange Bonecrunchers.

Our D line is going to set the tone and I think then everyone is going to be hitting lots harder.

I like it when other teams have the fear back in their hearts of playing our Vols like they used to have.

Big Orange Bone Crunchers symbolizes that fear.
