Defending our OC

You named the thread defending our OC, then said that the offense he runs doesn’t fit to modern football. Wouldn’t that be roasting him for not changing?
You can’t label him a roaster. It’s not kosher this day and age.

He did pretty good with Tyler Bray...and he wasn’t as touted as Harrison Bailey.
Yeah that’s what I was referring to. He did well with Bray and that’s the gunslinger. He had all the RBs in Georgia.

Our Offense is horrible..... looks like they think they can just line up and bulldoze opponents...

Lineman are overweight and out of shape...RBs fall down when breathed on... zero breakaway ability...

Playcalls so vanilla and predictable... no TE throws... WRS are barely targeted

No Screens... no misdirection.... plays develop slow... no bootlegs, no reverses... no jet sweeps

Chaney looks like he’s thrown in the towel lol...time to hit the buffet and retire Jimbo!!!
We don’t have TE to throw to and our WRs have trouble with spacing and getting separation. Not addressing your total position but those are the main reasons for those two issues. Pope being out hurts our TE issue for sure.

I think our offense would be great in 95-2005. The most popular offensive scheme right now in the NCAA and NFL is RPO’s. We don’t use it, have not seen us use it. I think Chaney is great with superior athletes or in a time warp.
Watching other teams throw down field and QB’s throwing for more yards in a drive than our sorry QB threw for in one half tells the story. Our OC is garbage!

Lol at anybody saying our offense has a lot of RPO. Our offense has the option of running when linebackers come unblocked or wide receivers are all covered.
