Defending Fulmer

Yeah it is. I know they're not in the same division, but psychologically it's still the big game.

I agree it's a big game, but I think UF has overtaken that game because of divisional importance. Losing to Bama hurts psychologically, but it's not as damning as losing to UF or another divisional opponent.

Like I said. Alabama is the big game.

No, it's not. Bama isn't in competition to win the East. The Bama game is important, but not THE most important. I'm a Cock fan, and I know that. Come on.

The logic makes sense, but I have a hard time agreeing.

How important is the Clemson game to you?

It's the same thing here, except Bama is still an SEC game.

I agree it's a big game, I just don't think it's as important as the divisional games. By that I mean that losing to them isn't as significant as losing to UGA or UF. But, then again, I'm on the outside looking in. Forgive me. :)

Won't kiffin's lone class have attritted out by next year assuming Janzen leaves?

Tyler Bray, Channing Fugate, and Ju'Wuan James say hi.

Kiffin's '09 class was a massive bust, but his contributions to the '10 class were invaluable. Even if you only include the guys who showed up early enough for bowl practice.

The divisional thing isn't as old as the UT bama thing. I mean we used to be in competition with bama for decades to win the SEC. The Divisions have only mattered for like 2 decades.

I know, UT/Bama goes way back. I am of the opinion that because losing to Bama does not carry the consequences of losing to a divisional opponent that Bama is not the main game anymore, at least not in terms of getting to ATL.

I do understand that it is still an important game, nonetheless.

Have I mentioned that you are dead wrong about this?
