Decommit

We don't know if he wants to go somewhere else, so it isn't a fact at this time. It seems to me that he has said he should consider his options, depending on what they do with the UT coach.

I absolutely do not blame him for his decision, and would advise my son to do the same, but it's obvious he doesn't want to come here as long as this staff is in place, which would imply him not wanting to come here.

That being said, I do believe we can get him back on board if we get a new coach.

How many of y'all are ready to decommit from Tennessee football???

That is an absolute absurdity. Perish the thought.

I am in this until death.

We never decommit. We may go into "semi-hibernation" for a year or two or 5 but never decommit. May be going into semi hibe mode real soon if something gargantuan doesn't get announced soon.

No it's not.

Until fans stop whining about when Burch is going to get fired the more recruits will decommit. Butch jones will be fired and no point in doing it now since you can save a ton of money letting him finish the year bit the more we cause drama about all this the more recruits will decommit. Just be quite and let it play out and we will have a new coach soon.

Still a vol fan for around 50 years. This is another one of those years where I'm numb I don't even yell at the tv during their games anymore. I think they will come back to 10 win seasons and some east champions but probably not SEC champs in the rest of my life time . Unless their is another Peyton Manning out there

NEVER EVER ASK THIS QUESTION AGAIN!

I get the frustration OP. I think a lot of fans feel this way because they feel they don’t have any control over the outcome. As fans, alum, and financiers of the program...you actually do. Don’t decommit, use that frustration as motivation to create change.

Nah... Tennessee Football has went from the top flight gf to the "this is me get over it" gf that never gives any loving and expects you to be ok with it. However, you still hold out hope that she turns it around, and occasionally she shows up all dolled up and puts it on ya... That's what keeps you hanging around.

I am all Vol, but I am ready to concentrate on other things until we get a coach who runs things respectful of the history, a radio guy who makes a bad game suspenseful rather than an exciting game like a root canal, and for the WOO birds to take a flying leap.
