question for those in the know...is it legal, by the NCAA rules, for a player/coach to switch jerseys/numbers during a game to deceive their opponent...

I thought it was against the rules to do so during a game.

Kiffin seemed confident that he's well within the rules though.

IIRC, Bullard switched during Bama after Fulton's injury. Has worn 89 most of season, remember seeing 78 after Fultons injury

A new Leo DiCaprio movie where he goes into someone body to extract the information?

That's because he can't wear 89 when he took over as the OG. 89 would mean he is an eligible receiver, which he was when he went in as a tight end, but not as a guard.

We did it at halftime in a game in highschool.. Switched our qb for one that could run.. They didn't figure it out til he housed a 70 yarder running the first time he dropped back...

They talked about it on PTI yesterday and said it was absolutely against the rules. They also mentioned something about the football coaches code of ethics (or something like that) and the first rule in the thing is apparently about not changing jersey numbers during a game.

Then they both agreed that it seems like Kiffin is always up to some douchebagery, such as this.
