I hope coach DeDord gets in the booth 3 hours early every game from here on out. It showed a lot about his mindset and payed off hugely. We should give him credit too calling a great game. :salute:

I suspect this may already be part of his game day routine to get a feel for the game in a way. CBS just highlighted it yesterday. Just like how many players play the game mentally before taking the field. I feel he has taken too much heat for losses. Jmo though

Better take a week for Bama. Play calling still the same, but he actually threw in a lot of curls. Who knew something so simple could give a wr separation lol

I think too much is being made of this, it's very common for coaches and players to prepare by themselves in solitude before a game.

He very much has. Some here have treated him terribly. His last coaching job was the 2012 Seatle Seahawks.

I hope he sleeps up there next time.

Yep

Odds are he has done this every game so far

I wouldn't doubt it. I have been impressed with Debord this season. And when the players execute like they did on Saturday, it makes him look like a genius. I just wished that he could spend his time coaching Dobbs in practice instead of letting the grad assistant do it.

Kudos to the entire coaching staff for allowing the team to play more loosely (of course, playing from behind may have had a lot to do with it).

Either way, according to rumors, there was a lot work done with the WRs leading up to the game and I think it showed. The offense still needs a lot more work, but I love the effort by the players and staff.

Probably depends on how aTm looks this week. Our only competition for CBS would be A&M vs Ole Miss. As long as Bama wins next week, I would think we get the nod. I hate night games. No matter the outcome, I have to have 4/5 hours to get the game out of my head to go to sleep.
