It wouldn't matter if Peyton was calling the plays tonight. if the Center can't get the ball back to Dobb's or if Dobb's can't hit wide open receiverswe could save the athletic department money and just eliminate the OC position. We will just rely on Evan and Cam returning kicks and Medley kicking FG's we have just as much chance to score than a Josh Dobb's led offense. Then throw in our Defense maybe getting us some points who needs an OC that is a few years past seasoned he wouldn't remember the prior days score or even what plays he called that worked and didn't work
Unfortunately Debord's hands have been tied this game because they can't trust Dobb's to throw the ball even remotely close to the red zone or end zone. I gotta say I would put that int Josh threw in the first half right up there with AInge's no look end zone interception that he he threw against LSU in Death Valley. Didn't think I would see one again in my lifetime my a Vol QB that would rival that one. But just when I think Josh has maxed out his blonde moment type F-Ups he amazes me with yet another one. Amazing #11 just amazing
Add Wolf and Williams to that as well. Wolf caught everything as in 3 thrown to him, one in OT and Williams I believe caught everything thrown to him but one and disappeared in the second half.
It looks as if Dobbs is afraid to throw the ball to an open receiver down field. They showed a replay of a pass play and 3 receivers were open down field the and Dobbs threw a 4 yard pass to the running back. WTF?
