Seeing that he just lost 75% of the plays he calls (Hurd dive left; Hurd dive right, and Hurd up the middle), coach DeBord will stay up past 8:00 this week and fill out a new post it note with plays to call for the Homecoming game.

Alot of people here thought Debord was the 2nd coming after that second half beat-down of Florida. His calls were golden in that game. In coaching you are never as good or as bad as it seems. We are still on track to have a better season than last year. Why don't we save the vitriol until after the season and just see. Our injuries are like nothing I have ever seen and I have been watching the Vols since 1968. 2 of our three losses are to teams solidly in the top ten. No shame there. Drilling VA Tech when we were at full strength seems a long way off I realize. Lets just see if Butch can right the ship. Florida plays at ARKY and LSU, then gets a revitalized SC. Losing 2 of 3 for them is not out of school. John Kelly runs like he is possessed. We've got this.....

Debord got Dobbs hit alot against Alabama. He plan was bad. Run on first down, no gain. run on second down for 1 yead. Dobbs goes back to pass on 3rd down sacked for a 8 yard loss.

Peyton Manning couldn't have called an offensive game that kept Dobbs from getting hit against Bama. He got hit because of guys named Richmond, Tatum, and Boulware, among others.

If 8 is late, I got a long evening in front of me......

Maybe his hands were tied with Hurd. Obviously the other backs have had success. Now he doesn't have to try to make on player happy. Wonder if Dobbs was botherd by Hurd Saturday. He has to play better!
