If he was so great and still so great, why isn't he coaching?
You have to ask that question
How come only Butch Jones is willing to bring him back from coaching oblivion and give him at shot as OC?
Dooley coming from Saban's coaching tree was supposed to "work out fine." Then Sal Sunseri coming from Saban's coaching tree was supposed to...."work out fine." They didn't. They were hires much of the fanbase hated/questioned and were proven right. You are a knot head. Debord is gonna do fine.

So, you have no basis to declare that a long out of work assistant coach, whom NOBODY wanted as an OC since being fired in 2007...is going to work out fine.
Wait. Butch was out of work for 7-8yrs before we hired him? Who knew?Remember how we felt when Butch was hired?
Yeah, I'm gonna sit right here and be perfectly okay with hiring an OC with a 52-11 record, a national championship, and two conference titles along with hefty OL/TE coaching experience.
