I never was for the DeBord hire for just one simple reason, he hasn't not extensively ran the spread offense. But now that apparently that he is the new OC, I am going to give his extensive coaching experience the benefit of the doubt before I go off and just say he sucks!

I don't really want to bash this guy, but this is really a bad hire from my perspective. Although, my perspective is from my couch so it doesn't have the best sight lines to the inter workings of Butch's staff operation. This guy hasn't run an offense since when? Hasn't recruited since when? 2007? You have to admit, this is a really bad hire unless this guy is some sort of secret mastermind.

Hiring the offensive equivalent to Sal Sunseri ain't no way to keep all the recruiting moment heading in the right direction.

Good Lord. This is about the same as people saying we'll win 12-games next year. Are you serious? Bill Belichick sucked in Cleveland and Pete Carroll sucked at New England. Give it a rest. I 100% believe that he will be running the offense that BUTCH tells him to, just like Bajakian did.
