Do we really want to take on all of Lloyd Carr's refugees? Of course, Debord did just engineer a win over the Gators.

Debord has won a national championship as an OC. Michigan's problems have been on D. He is a great recruiter. He is way way better than Clawson. His haters dislike him because he is a guy who runs the ball and plays not to lose at times not much different from Clawson's style. He likes TEs. He is a damn good option if we are not going the Gus way.

they're in for their 2nd interviews, together...it's just a formality and I'd bank on it at this point. (providing the source info is accurate)

They have proven they can beat Florida...that's ALL that matters. We can go 1-11 next year, as long as we beat Florida. Who's with me

C'mon...lighten up...just a joke. But in all seriousness, we'll be fine next year with a killer 2nd'ary to boot.

I know, but some people might be happy just beating Bama. I'm sure there are some Bama fans that are happy that they're finally showing that they can compete with UT, despite the abysmal season.

Why would he???

Sounds like the same non-sense I've seen about Gerald Jones following Trooper to OSU!

Because he doesn't fit Rodriguez's offense. They are recruiting Pryor now and probably other dual threat QB's. If they land one, Mallett will never see the field again at Mich.

His leaving Mich isn't just some negative fan's speculation and it doesn't hinge on attachment to a coach. He risks never having a career by staying.
