Personally, I don't have a problem with the "Woo"
I think it helps to avoid that pause after "Good ole Rocky Top....Rocky Top Tennessee"
As for the wave, it's kinda outdated. Not to mention it usually occurs at bad times. I think some fans like it because it brings the crowd together in a sense.
People yell WOOOOO!!!! at a host of other things in life. The few knuckleheads need to get over it and get on about their business. You can go on youtube and watch some Iraq War or Afghanistan footage and hear soldiers yell "WOOO-HOOO!!! after taking out Achmed, the terrorist.The wooo in Rocky Top? I hate it... Of course I never really liked the song Rocky Top anyway.. That's just me and my musical tastes though...

Easy, tiger. I think you missed my point there. Based on my comment, you really can't compare telling someone to sit down to someone who tells someone to quit throwing things, and then put words in my mouth that I said they're not true fans. I never said that.
