Its a sad thing indeed when the head coach of our storied program has to appease the likes of Dearstone. I can only imagine what the consequences would be if he didn't, maybe he wouldn't get any free tickets to Lady Vols games. I think it is a joke to have this happen. I really like the former players idea though.

I don't know if its to appease anyone. In fact, I think its just the opposite - I think he's doing it to give them even a glimmer of all that goes on and is required of a coach at that level (i.e. the number, speed and importance at which things occur and decisions are needed) - even for a meaningless spring game.

Just a guess.
