Dearstone: CP3 could beat some NBA players

Anyone else hear the "sports doctor" say Candace Parker could beat some NBA players on the radio today?

This "guy" makes me so angry, he is a disgrace to his profession.

MD's reasoning was that some NBA bench players come from the CBA and NBDL and she is better than those guys.

To his credit Jacoby said Dearstone was crazy.

he is out of his freakin' mind. My college team was weak, and she couldn't have made our JV team. We didn't have any 6'4" thin types that needed a running start to one-handed dunk.

I bet there'd be a long list of guys itching to defend and be defended by her. No innuendo involved, any D1 3,4, or 5 would treat her very poorly.

No NBA fan here. But that is down right stupid. He should be looked at for medical problems.

cut him some slack.....he cannot help that he was born with a man's body! but I will say I did switch stations during that exchange! I really listen to that particular show because of the callers not the crew fielding the calls!

I'm not sure where some of those callers come from. It's like the weirdest people in the area are the ones that call that show.

It's like the stories of Cheryl Miller putting it to her brother Reggie when he was young. That MIGHT have been true when she had undergone puberty and he had not. Thereafter, I'm certain she had no prayer in any way if they were both serious.

I'm not sure Reggie has gone through puberty yet. Or that he's ever hit the weights.

yeah but I kind of enjoy the older gentleman named Jim.....he calls all the shows.... bless his heart he is a Vols fan in every sense.....but he even turned on CPF after Fla.

Dearstone, Deerstone however you spell it, is without doubt the worst "Sports Talk" host in the Southeastern United States, maybe even nationally.

That Heather doesn't help any either. She is about dumb as the other two. The only one I listen to is Pat Ryan when he comes in on Mondays.

There should be a special forum on VN for women's college basketball (or WNBA for that matter) so that we don't have to fiddle with it unless we really, really want to.

I have another question about equality in the men's and women's game. If they are so good, and Parker could beat some NBA players according to MD, why do they use the same sized ball as 5th grade boys?

I don't know sometimes I wonder if the Dolphins could buy a win with all the money in the world. Also JZ the only way CP3 beats an NBA player is if he is a center (along the lines of Shaq), and all he does is throw up NBA 3 pointers and stands there watching...and then CP3 doesn't have to take it back out past the line and just puts it back up.
