You cannot say with certainty that it will have NO bearing. Previously unknown information gleaned from message boards could very well have some effect on a recruit.

You would think in a time when a university needed its fans to gather and cheer their school on they would get it. Forget it Tennfan. Preaching to the Chicken Littles and constantly Negative Nellies is futile. They would Pixx and Moan if they were given $1m. They boo our players in front of recruits and stupidly think they are intelligent or---whatever. Coach DD will have to overcome a lot of adversity to build this team and these geniuses are just a small part of it.

Just because you are mature and level headed, does not mean that teenage recruits are. They are still forming their philosophy of life and are very susceptible to subtle outside influences.

So, the overall mood in this forums, could, potentially have an small but important effect on some recruits.

Don't get me wrong, I do not advocate an unreallistic positive view of the football program, but, it would be nice, if we could accept that we can not see the future, therefore... every forecast we make is nothing but speculation.


Lets wait until we see the product on the field before we condemn this staff.

I prefer to be cautiously optimistic.

Just because I don’t think a coach who went 17-20 in the WAC will succeed at a high level, please don’t be a retard and lump me in with the idiots who boo their own players. I donate my money and pay full price for football and basketball season tickets and road games, and I have a right to judge our staff. But I guess because I’m not a mindless sheep who supports whatever the orange wearers do, I assume I can’t be considered a true fan, correct?

Dude, you're obviously a fan. I just think it's a little unreasonable to just crucify Dooley before he's coached a game. If you don't think he'll succeed that's fine. I have reservations as well. But there's no point to continuously bashing him on here.
