Dear UT-Martin...

The worst part is, you're looking for words that are wrong instead of the point of a post. Yes it is an FCS team.... who cares? Ask Michigan what happened the last time they "overlooked" and FCS team. Given UT-M isn't Appy State but stil...

Good post 20. No matter what you say this board is full
of A__ Holes. :eek:k:

You guys are pathetic. He's trying to get everybody pumped up for the season, yet you nerds are too busy nit-picking his grammar and trying to determine how bad UTM's football team is instead of becoming equally excited for the season.

It obviously went straight over some people's heads.

UT-Martin,

Heed this warning. For when you see the top of Neyland Stadium as you’re crossing over the hills entering Knoxville, there are certain things you will need to know. That chill you feel crawling up your spine? Don’t confuse that with the cool mountain breeze flowing through the Smokey Mountain Valleys. No no… that is the chill given off by stone cold Orange Clad hungry wolves that have been caged and starved since January. Their love for inflicting pain in their victims taken from them, forced to wait until another season rolls around before they can taste it again. And don’t mistake that noise you hear for the waves of the Atlantic. Those are the many wakes created by the mighty Vol Navy. Like a school of sharks they surround the waters of Knoxville every Saturday of fall. Hoping, Praying, Waiting for the Wolves to discard of the remains into the murky waters. The rumble you are hearing beneath your bus is no earthquake. Make no mistake about it. That’s the march of the Pride Of The Southland band combined with over 100,000 equipped Orange Army members. Marching to the sounds of Rocky Top, these are the Wolves handlers. And the handlers are just as hungry as the Wolves. Do not expect a heart filled welcome for this will not be a friendly greeting our westward friends. This will be remembered as the most painful day of your lives. Welcome to Orange Nation…… Welcome to Gods Country…. Welcome to VolNation!
Sincerely yours,
GBO

P.S. 5 days....

Don't let the cry babies drown out your voice. If it was up to me, we would feed them to the wolves as an apetizer before we unleashed them on UTM.

Glad to see some people get the point of this thread. To me it doesn't matter who we are playing.... I'm still going to get hyped and excited. Even if it is UT-M.

We've lost to Wyoming at home....you really think they'll be scared?

Damn right they'll be scared....you ever played sports before outside of peewee football? I wouldn't be surprised if a half a dozen of them puked before the game.

This. Vast majority have not. I remember playing in Neyland for a high school jamboree and I was scared ****less.

im with ya. Neland can be so quite sometimes. ive never heard 100,000+ people so quite. almost every game i go to somebody behind me gets mad about me standing up and cheering. i usually ask them why they are even at the game.

Nothing went over anyone's head; it's just most of us realizing trash talking an FCS opponent is pathethic. And then to compare them to App. St. is even more pathetic.
