We always get that after a win though. You have to realize that this is the first time since 2007 that we're going into the Florida game with any glimmer of hope, as faint as it may be.

I personally don't think it's faint at all.

I'm going to be in Vegas and wouldn't put a nickel on this game, one way or the other.

Faint?

They very well may win, but I would call this game a toss-up ATP.

Remember, they have John Brantley at QB and not a single WR that has been impressive during their time in Gainsville.

Factor in a couple of track stars playing RB in a pro-style offense and there ya go.

Defensively, they are going to be at a big disadvantage trying to cover Hunter/Rogers, their front 7 should help make up for that though.

Faint, may be a bad choice of words.

I'm going on a weekend cruise and will be in Cozumel when this thing kicks off.

Anyone know of a good Cozumel sports bar???

Or could it be that fans are realistically seeing a QB/WR group that could give us a legit shot in any game we're in?

Bama and LSU are faint hopes. Florida is absolutely a realistic chance of a win... I'd give it 50/50 on both teams (and that is the first time I've felt this way since 2004).

It isn't faint hope. We have a legitimate shot to win this game for the first time in what seems like forever.

I want you to be right, but I just don't buy that. We definitely have improved, but we're just not at Florida's level yet; especially on the road.

Whether you like it or not, he's breaking a few of Mannings records.

Not saying he is better than manning...

Bray will also break a couple more of Manning's records IF he stays healthy, has healthy receivers and if he doesn't leave for the N.F.L. after his junior season.

Passing yardage: Manning 11,020 Bray 2,548

Touchdowns: Manning: 89 Bray 25

Desmond Howard doesn't have Bray in his top 3 players of the week. Anyone surprised at that..... LOL

He's getting every bit of respect he deserves to this point in time.

Put up 400 yards against a Florida, or even better yet LSU or 'bama defense, and he'll get the mention you think he deserves.

Did you watch that game this weekend? Two thirds of the passes he made were to receivers with no one within 10 or 15 yards of the receiver. There was one, early on in the game, in the end zone about 15 yards or so, where the receiver is literally just standing there all by himself and I'm not even sure anyone else was even in the end zone with him, at all.

Dude was just standing there.

Not to say he can't do it. Just saying he has yet to play a few games against the type of competition you need to play against to make these kinds of claims.

You're being ridiculous. He had lots of passes between converging defenders, and on the perimeter.

But don't worry, all will become clear on Saturday around 630 as you're filing out of the stadium.

My grandmother could have made this pass.

And she's been dead for five years.

You are really showing your fear.

We're going to trounce you.

Still how many times, even in the NFL, do u see qbs make a bad pass on a wide open guy? It happens, yet Bray has been spot on all year. Doesn't matter if they're wide open u still have to hit them with the ball. If a guy is wide open and u hit him in stride its still a good throw. Brantley has played bad competition too and has been inaccurate enough to hit other teams players with the ball, something Tyler has yet to do. And it just speaks of the quality of our receivers f they're that open. Just get ready gator a world of hurt is coming in 5 days.

As a guy that watched him dismantle my Bearcats and watch a lot of football (And seen a lot of great QBs over the years), I think his nationwide coming out party will be Saturday. It looks like he can make all the throws and even the few times we had tight coverage on guys, he put it exactly where it needed to be.

Dear Tyler,

Watch your back side. They're going to try to take out your knee. THAT'S what they're planning.

They are the lowdownest cheatinest bastidges in college football. They'll do it if they get the shot.

One thing that might make Bray a little better than Manning in his career if he stays the full 4 years is that Bray seems to have a bit more of a mean streak than Manning had in college....Bray is firey and emotional...Manning wasn't that way until he got to the pros.

Did anyone hear Finebaum this afternoon? Tom Luginbill was his guest and was giving Tyler major props and Paul's response made me want to rip his face off, he said "well you know it's the beginning of the season when Tennessee is still in the running for the east". Luginbill just changed the subject instead of agreeing with him. I think we are slowly and surely getting some national recognition, but it definitely gonna take winning this weekend to shut people like FineBAM up...

Ok. This video isn't great but you get the idea.

Touchdown Da'Rick Rogers!!! - YouTube

My grandmother could have made this pass.

And she's been dead for five years.

But Brantley probably could not make that throw is what you are implying? Gosh lawgator, you should have more faith in the gator qb! Rather than bashing our qb, maybe you should get your own house in order.

I was referring to the idea of Bray being able to beat Florida when Manning couldn't. Florida was one of the very best teams in the country. Alabama is Bray's Florida.

Tennessee was one of the very best teams in the country. This isn't Manning's UT, either. Of course it's fair game to bring up Manning if Bray beats uf. I don't see your issue with this at all.
