I'd ask him for job interview tips. How in the world he got the UT job with his resume and record is beyond comprehension.

Yes, I do. Do you know how many times Tennessee has lost to a second string QB. MANY TIMES that was the start of the decline.

My wife and some of her friends were at a Northshore eatery just a couple of weeks after he was fired. He comes in and is seated close to him. Just yucking it up and having a ball. My wife's party was getting ready to leave and she caught his attention and held their check up and asked him if he would like to pay it. He laughed and said that if he paid their's he would have to pay for everyone's. She said that was fine with her. Of course he just waved her off and went back to his yucking it up.

The guy was bad, no doubt. But you have to realize the situation Hamilton was dealt. Kiffin literally left in the middle of the night. Two weeks into January. The most unprofessional and poisonous move a head football coach (besides Bobby Petrino) had ever made.

If we're playing the blame game, blame Kiffin and Hamilton, then Dooley.

If you are playing the blame game you have to go back to Fulmer. He is the man that let a championship program slip into mediocrity. Phil did some good things and he also did some bad things. If he had done his job the state of the TN program would not be where it is at today. That is fact.

One would think there would be a cookie cutter recruiting roster that a coach would attempt to fill every year. It would help develop depth and avoid things like "Oh we didn't take any o-linemen this year"..

Let's not leave Hamilton out of this conversation. He is the one who allowed CPF the time to run the program into the ground then hired the next two coaches who lit the remains on fire.
