Dear Coach Heupel

I love college football, but it will never compel me to…

1) Instigate fights and arguments within my own family
2) Harass or insult other grown adults for who they cheer for on Saturdays

like it literally is not that important
I enjoy the playful back and forth, but afree it's not that serious. I went to a Tennessee/puppy game in Athens several years ago. My buddy got us tickets right beside the student section, I had a blast😆. Until the end, unfortunately Dooley was our coach, and we lost.

I agree with you on talent, do you know the blue chip ratio from last year? I felt like we were a play or two away from being in a position to win last year ( or maybe I’m way off cause of the age factor) and didn’t they benefit from a few iffy calls? Hopefully we get the benefit of the doubt on, if any, iffy calls this year.
Vols were at 48% for 2024, Georgia 80%.

This can be overcome- especially the marriage part.

My wife grew up a Uga fan and her mom and dad are the barking slobbering kind - I had to move from Georgia to Colorado to accomplish it- but now my wife sings Rocky top- makes fun of UGA- she wears orange and our newborn is free to be a VFL.

Unfortunately that whole family is coming to town this weekend to watch the game with us- so pray for patience on my side…

I seem to recall that, similar to their current qb, we VOL fans thought
Stetson Bennett was an avg signal caller and could not lead them to
victory over UT. I am getting similar vibes now that Gunner is similar to
Bennett in that he will have a Heisman type game against us. It's the Vol karma.

I’m gonna go back to what Fulmer told the team in 98 before the Florida State game:

You do not have to play perfect, but play your butts off. No quotation marks because I’m reciting from memory.

This is a winnable game. We just have to play hard and make a few more plays than they do.
The same can be said about every game
