So i read a volquest that he's definately going to get alot of playing time against Florida.. i dont have the full subscription so i couldnt read the whole thing.. But it said that he pushed hard for a starting spot..
So thats really good news.. Ive been wondering when im gonna see him on the field.. i mean his name is made for a bada$$ corner!

They discussed long and hard about which of these two to use:

Berry at CB, Parrish at SS
Berry at SS, Willingham at CB

They could change it midgame, but Willingham is the Nickelback and in the Mustang.

Gosh.. that is a hard pic..
but idk, personally i'd like to see Berry start and either Willingham start or his buddy McKenzie..
im already sick of Parrish..

so has anyone found out why McKenzie is now third on the freakin depth chart?
or why Donald isnt even listed on the depth chart? OMFG!

McKenzie will soon be getting looks at safety as well.

McKenzie doesn't really know how to cover yet. Big hits isn't an issue for him. What I find interesting is that Rogan has come in ahead of McKenzie. I thought he was seeing more reps at corner.

Rogan for what i hear is extremely smart and picked up stuff very quickly. We have who we like in the starters roles. But don't be surprised to see this kid get in there soon.

He has been getting looks since practice started, he just doesn't know what he's doing

Why do people say that?! Did Demetrice Morley know what he was doing? Did Antwan Stewart know what he was doing? Did Antonio Gaines know what he was doing?

Dont think so...and they all played but whatever...

Antwan was mentally ready, he was just nowhere near fast enough to do it.

Redshirt. I don't care how many stars his name had beside it when he came out of high school, you do not want to see a 225 lb true freshman DE in the SEC

Rogan needs to get at least a series or two on D pretty soon. He was great in the scrimmages.

I have no problem with Willingham playing at safety, but we have to be careful with how many new kids we get on the field at the same time. I feel like if some guys on here had their way we'd be playing with Vinson, Berry, Willingham, and McKenzie in the secondary all at the same time.

CPF has a love-fest going on with Parrish. He has had many chances to improve, but seems medicocre. CPF keeps supporting him. I was shocked that even before Gaines was out for season (just a game or two), CPF announced Parrish would come back. Wouldn't most coaches wait to see what the week of walk throughs and practice drills would bring to the surface. CPF sort of jumped the gun. He has to start Parrish now because he committed himself.

there's no problem with giving the guy a chance to redeem himself, but if Parrish doesn't impress early I agree with many of you, it's time for a changing of the guard. To me, it seems like Parrish just plain ol' "can't keep up."

Yea, i say that if Parrish doesnt play good the first 2 series then we should stick McKenzie back there.. or Kemp, but idk if Kemp can play SS..

and whatever happened to Wardlow.. he seems to de-progress as he's been here!

What I find interesting is that Vinson is already second team on the depth chart. Perhaps he can help us more at CB. He certainly has the size at 6' 2" 190lbs, and the speed (4.27).

yea, i doubt that Vinson will see time all year at CB! they'll play Berry, M. Johnson, Willingham, Art Evans, and even Ricardo Kemp there before they play Vinson..
he doesnt know the defensive side of the ball too well yet..
personally, i just think it's a motivational factor by Fulmer!

It's traditional that Fulmer doesn't start a star recruit until after the Florida loss. Then they go on to be All-SEC at the positon.

DW just sounds like he will be a college star...let that name roll of the tongue of Brent Mustberger...with the words...won the game for the Vols!:pepper:
