I would. He has one of the top WR corps in the nation to work with. JH is a future all SEC / All American baring a serious injury. Rogers has the ability to reach that level as well. Plus the guys we have coming in are very highly regarded. I would be shocked if Baggett were to leave anytime soon.

Why would Wilcox go sideways in a job if Steele was offered 800k Wilcox can get the same here if not more unless he was offered head coaching in waiting but dont think Texas will do that again ?

We can use the 300k buy out to pay more for a DC. We have more funds if he leaves than if he stays.

Are we really back to the "Steele to Tennessee" crap? Give me a break. Only thing worse than suffering through 6-6 kind of seasons, is having to suffer through the same rumors following them.
