I think we lose at least Santos and McNeil if CLT becomes the DC. I also think it's hard for us to get attention from any new targets. CLT has been on staff this entire time so it's hard to imagine new excitement over UT if he is named DC.

I like where your head is at. First you made Geeen a DB coach under Sunseri. Now he's a co-DC. You cannot get on board with the idea that Dooley would hire THIS GUY as THE DC at The University of Tennessee. I have a bad feeling you're giving Dooley too much credit here. I don't want it to happen either, but I have a bad feeling we are about to hire Navy's DC as our (only) DC.

Given the current undesirability of coaching at UT, I guess I agree. That's not meant to be as negative as it sounds, but it seems that we no longer have the luxury of choice anymore. We take who we can get.

well you are right in one respect..if you continue not to back this coaching staff,recruits and this university ...you are a loser...the DC position will be filled when the time is right...

Question: Anyone remember when Wilcox was hired? How did our class end up that year? I know it's a preference to hire someone by this weekend, but is it really a necessity? Just a thought.

well seems the roster update interview is gonna be just that....

wonder if CLT is announced as DC? only thing that makes sense now

And don't just point to Navy's 2011 season as your reason. I have seen nothing from y'all explaining your opinions. The fact of the matter is you don't know how it would work out with Buddy Green as DC. You just assume it would be a bad thing.

Technically, we don't know how it would work out with 2inthedry as DC, either.
