Dont worry CC, just let Dooley be HC and DC. It is all irrelevant as long as he is HC anyway.

You know Big Jim Haslam has convinced the Steelers to let UT have Dick LeBeau. Problem solved. It pays to have big donors who are part owners of an NFL team!

He would be a positive as an assistant. Im not sure how good he would be as a DC. That would be the risky part.

I think it will be Steele. Don't see smart leaving for a DC job.

If Smart is offered a coach in waiting and enough cash, he may bite.

Steele may come, but he was offered before. You figure a one time player would jump to come back to The Hill

You should put Randy Shannnon on that list....Replace him with Smart....not a chance he comes.

My wildcard and heart pick is #54 Dale Jones! He has done a great job at Appy State and wouldnt ever leave us. His blood is deep orange! I hear he really likes it at Appy St but you know we could lure him to K Town. C,Mon Man!

Unless he was successful and gets another offer for more $. Other than that, yep, he'd stay forever

I wouldn't rule out John Chavis - former UT player and DC. He may be willing to come back if the money is right.

With the state of our program, I think any of those names are as likely as Jim Harbaugh coming on as QB coach.

Heard some rumblings that MH is the reason Steele is not the DC now.

The Coach in Waiting deal would be kinda weird here unless Smart expected his HC to be fired soon. Dooley is kinda young unless that is true.

ok chavis is not coming because him and fulmer are friends and i dont think he'll be back, i would like to see Shannon as DC, Garner as DL coach, and Thompson back to LB coach. If shannon won't come i'd like to see steele as DC, and if Garner wont come i'd like to see brooks from clemson as well.On the offensive side of the ball, id like to see napier as TE coach
