Yeah, that's what I'm hoping, too. The longer it drags, though, the more nervous I get - although I like the thought in other posts that Butch is planning on releasing it on Monday so it's on the crawl during the championship game. :)

Chill folks. The BIG difference here as compared to the previous coaching searches is that this one was timed at CBJ's choosing. Events were not forced upon him. He would not pull the trigger on letting Janeck go of he wasn't darn sure that he had his replacement 100 percent lined up. And if it is Shoop, Shoop would have had to have given Butch his word ahead of the move. Coaching being a small fraternity, Shoop could not/would not play us for fools without word getting around and his name becoming mud.

Ergo....it is either Shoop or Shoop agreed to play smokescreen for someone who would therefore have to be an even bigger hire.

So remember. ..the fact that CBJ CHOSE the time for the move tells you all you need to know. You don't pull the trigger until all uncertainty possible is eliminated.
