Pretty good. My only quibble would be how/why would we pencil in Hadden in front of Walker and McDonald when they have been doing well there and Flowers has gotten some reps at NB and Slaughter has started games there also. If/when Hadden is ready to go, seems like we need him worse at CB?

Man we really need some guys to step up on the back end and lead.Sucks but Alonte and Theo are going to be sorely missed I'm afraid but we just need a couple guys to take that next step. I think will be okay but your lying if u dont think it's very worrisome as things stand today. What I mean is u have guys that played but experience and staying healthy right now are paramount.

Agreed, but the potential leadership is there. Flowers has spoken of stepping up into Theo's leadership role. Also, DBs are challenging each other to take on Tillman and the best WRs during drills. Combine that with having the same position Coach and same system in consecutive years is promising. Not saying they will be the strongest unit, but just maybe they will hold their own this year. I'm sorry I derailed the conversation a bit. Go Vols!

I'm actually pretty excited about our DBs, especially the young talent like McDonald and Charles. I feel pretty good about the multiple veterans scattered around that unit, to help season the younger ones coming up.

This is what college football is all about ... the players come and go and somebody new steps up, whether predicted or an unforeseen surprise. Happens every single year.

Really exciting to have so many options. I have no clue how it will play out, but the great news is we have a lot of depth.

I have Turnage in 2 spots because I think he’s the top backup at both NB and CB. Hadden will be our best CB, IMO.

The more fall camp/practice goes on the more I'm only worried about DB's for passing. If they show out during the Pitt game and Florida game then who knows we may have a shot at bama and ga
