Outside of cost, how difficult is it to upgrade a processor? I've swapped out nearly all cpu components at some point, but I can't say I've ever pulled a processor.

installing one is pretty easy.. you just need to make sure your motherboard has the right socket size for the CPU you want

Looks like I'd be into it about $300 to try this out, so i'm not going to bite, as interesting as it looks. My PC works fine for Scourge of War and Crusader Kings 2, and that's about the extent of my non-console gaming.

Well when ever the standalone comes out, it should be less demanding from what they are saying. But no date has been set.

For the game though, it is fun surviving and working with others to help survive. I came across a camp deep in the woods (vehicles and they actually drove a damn bus that far back to store stuff in, guns, food, tents, etc...), and looted it for some nice goodies. Every time I find one though I feel it is a setup.

I'm semi-retarded. Downloaded OA first by accident. It's about to finish up, and I'll start the base download before heading to bed.

Hopefully have everything setup by tomorrow evening.

Got some great loot today. Binoculars, large pack, compass, watch, blood packs, water bottles, hunting knife...

Playing again later.

When I launch dayz, it's saying I need to remove several files that don't have keys. Is that typical?

Won't let me join until I do.

Just found a tutorial for amazon purchase. Few steps I gotta go through. Hopefully this gets it going.

MF. Ran around for about 3 hours, killed like 50 zombies with my hatchet, found a toolbox, spare tire, fuel parts, and a bus, fixed the bus, was driving along, saw a goat, killed the goat, harvested some goat steaks, and got sniped on my way back to the bus.

"I was bored. I just kill to kill." Per the bastard that killed me.

Had just found a pair of binoculars, too.
