I made it down here finally. It's my first time vacationing here. Any recommendations on things to do or places to eat while we're down here?

billy's taproom and grill is a great place to eat if you don't mind spending a little money. i make a trip to daytona every year and its always on top of our list of places to eat.

also, if you want something a little different one night, portofino's is great if you like italian. i tried it on my last visit and it was one of the best places i ate while i was there. definitely worth a trip IMO, and it's not expensive at all.

if you play golf...LPGA course is great...or an hour north is World Golf Village and PGA Hall of Fame

I was thinking of setting up a tee time at the course. I will definitely try out the taproom. Any other good ideas while we're down here?

They have some great turtle stores. I got one and named it BenJarvus Green-Ellis. I have no clue why but his name was stuck in my head.

Last time I was there was June '95. While the wife and all the women in my bunch went shopping I found a real honey hole. I had a chase lounge on the near deserted beach, close by like 50 ft away was a small barnwood type structure, that had bud light longnecks 1.50, I lay there most of the afternoon watching the ocean, thinking about my past, my family and friends, and the occasional bikini walking by. Good times.

Sounds pretty relaxing. I think when the girls go shopping I will play 18 holes at the LPGA course.
