Just broke the record for receptions. I think that we should give this kid an offer he is continuously making plays in a high powered offense and has great hands. I think he would make a good TE myself. I just think that if we are going to take flyers on kids lets stay inside the state and look at these kids right in our backyard instead of from Georgia and Alabama. I think Howell would be a better prospect then Sanders, Cunningham, or Eddie Jackson.

I second the thought

Maybe it is because of Smith's injury but it seems like Howell has overshadowed Smith. Did we offer the wrong guy or should we have both.

I don't know much about Smith, but Howell broke the record with a broke hand.

I was his youth pastor for a couple years. Talk with him a lot at church. His shuttle was fine but 40 time was slow for some. Runs the best routes I have ever seen and unbelievable hands. Just a great athlete. Believe it or not Todd his dad is a great basketball player. A small college is going to get a great player if nobody offers

He's an excellent receiver, just not a deep threat. I see him more as a preferred walk-on with an opportunity at a scholarship down the road.

Davis howell Charlie high Josh Smith and the rest of them have been so much fun to watch at CAK over the last two or three years I'm going to miss those guys. Best of luck to all of them I hope they all get college scholarships they deserve it

I could see him as a Dallas Clark type TE. Very impressive hands and great routes! Of course, that whole team as been playing together forever. I think Davis and High can read each others minds!

I agree someone needs to offer him quick. Before he wastes his time at MTSU or somewhere else.

I agree, add some size in a college weight room, and he will make someone a great "h"back

Davis received an offer from UTC and has given then a verbal commitment and is set to sign papers with them on NSD. As his former youth pastor I couldn't be more proud. Fantastic athlete and a better kid

Received an offer from UTC last Tuesday. It appears to be the largest school to yet offer.
