You need elite talent to win, but what escapes most people is that you still need a team to win. Role players have to be there. There's a reason Robert horry has more rings than Shaq, Kobe and MJ.

The lakers wouldn't have won their recent titles without Derek Fisher, Lamar odom or ron artest. The celtics wouldn't have done it without Rajon rondo, glen Davis, etc. And the heat won't win jack for the same reason.

If the Heat do not win the title then it will be because they get knocked out in the Eastern Conference Finals by the Celtics who have themselves 4 superstars.

The Celtics also have a TEAM.

Elite point guards and centers win titles, the Heat have neither.

Either way, I ultimately feel that contraction is probably a good thing for the league. Teams like Charlotte, LA Clippers, Sacramento, New Orleans and (apologies to fans on here) Memphis don't need to exist.
