IMHO I wouldn't call a 5 star OT recruit "soft" because he's held out of a few games with injury..But I'm sure your Medical Degree allows you to level that accusation, correct ??.....This has gone from our staff being surprised he wasn't able to play in the opener, to him STILL sitting out 3 weeks later. WTH is going on??? Is our 5* stud that soft? Is it more serious then we were led to believe? I just see our team having a ton of injuries and it seems to happen ALL the time. It's frustrating.
Really hope he cam stay healthy, and progress. No sense in trying to push it.the initial diagnosis was a stinger and the feeling was it should resolve in a week or so. There are cases where it takes longer since the nerve has some damage. The nerve has to heal and then the muscles have to rehab back to full strength. In Sanders case, that is the issue, the nerve healing is taking much longer than anticipated.
It would be a high risk of further injury if he tried to play PLUS, he would likely be ineffective due to the weakness....
It’s a nerve injury from a stinger. With that type of injury you have to let the nerve fully heal to get strength back. It’s incredibly risky to come back too soon from a nerve injury. This has gone from our staff being surprised he wasn't able to play in the opener, to him STILL sitting out 3 weeks later. Injuries happen. Now, if you want to go up there, and lay hands on him? Go for it. Maybe they will let you in. Then again, they may laugh you off the facility. This has gone from our staff being surprised he wasn't able to play in the opener, to him STILL sitting out 3 weeks later. WTH is going on??? McCoy tore his ACL in February. It’s common to do that in a non contact manner. Hobbs just has a stress fracture and will be available relatively soon. 2?One item that needs to be asked is how so many players are getting injured in the off-season? I can understand during the season but off season?
so, you're the soft one of the family....jk.I can see McCoy being back next week for UAB or making the trip to Ms St.
Gibson is likely gone for the season, or at least will be a medical RS and see limited time towards the end.
Sanders - who knows. That's a nerve damage issue and the only thing that can fix that is time...time is relative and different for everyone when it comes to healing.
My brother had a kidney stone removal procedure and he was back to work in 3 days, but I had the same procedure and was off work for 2 weeks.
