I forget who we were playing, but he caught a TD in the endzone and it looked like 2 defenders had just sandwiched him to death. He just sit up smiling holding the ball in the air. I loved that catch.
Oh no. He is blameless. It's all Dooley's fault. (blue font)It was Cincinnatti 2011. The guy had so much promise but he was mishandled by the leadership at UT and of course he bears much of the responsbility for it as well. The unfortunate part is he could have been among the best of all time at UT but it never materialized.
Losing Da'Rick before the 2012 season was just one of many lucky breaks that led to Dooley getting fired.
Had he stayed, the offense would have been even more prolific and we might have eked out another win, gone to a bowl game, and missed out on the majority of the 2014 legacy class with Dooley at the helm for another season.
