One of my favorite plays was when he carried the honey badger about 15 yards. Wished he could of stayed straight and narrow for another year good luck to him.

I forget who we were playing, but he caught a TD in the endzone and it looked like 2 defenders had just sandwiched him to death. He just sit up smiling holding the ball in the air. I loved that catch.

It was Cincinnatti 2011. The guy had so much promise but he was mishandled by the leadership at UT and of course he bears much of the responsbility for it as well. The unfortunate part is he could have been among the best of all time at UT but it never materialized.

Ironically that was against CBJ and his Bearcats

Oh no. He is blameless. It's all Dooley's fault. (blue font)

Losing Da'Rick before the 2012 season was just one of many lucky breaks that led to Dooley getting fired.

Had he stayed, the offense would have been even more prolific and we might have eked out another win, gone to a bowl game, and missed out on the majority of the 2014 legacy class with Dooley at the helm for another season.

I concur. We completely squandered our talent for the 4 years before Butch got here. Just think of the talent we let slip through our hands under Kiffin and Dooley.

For all intents and purposes, Da'Rick only played 1 season of football at UT. (We won't count his freshman season where he did little more than run a few WR reverses)

Just think about that. The sandwich catch at Cincy, the one handed game winner at Vandy, carrying the Honey Badger.... So many memorable highlights in only one season of play.

If only this guy wasn't a sociopath he might be one of the top WR in the NFL right now.

The offense would have been better but no offense was going to be good enough to cancel out that defense.

The biggest disappointment to me was never getting to see CP, Hunter and DR on the field at the same time with Bray throwing to them. Zach Rogers wasn't a scrub either. Plus Rivera at TE, and Neal at RB?

It really would have been an incredible offense.
