David Reaves?

How good of a QB coach is he?

No clue ... I think we got him more for his recruiting than his coaching. I would assume that Chaney and Kiffin will do most of the coaching for our QBs. Garcia and Smelley were not exactly stellar though.

This is correct. Kiffin and Chaney will be focusing on the QB, not Reaves.

Well, I think we all know who handles the QB's at USCe, I'm sure he was nothing more than a buffer between SOS and the QB's. So, I wouldn't put to much stock in what you saw this year from them as concerning Reeves.

Chaney will be the OC. Reaves will work within the offense, but I expect Kiffin to be very involved with QB development. After what we saw in '08 at QB, Kiffin knows and understands the urgency and will be hands on.

I think Reeves will have about enough control over the QB's here as he did at USCjr, which is not much. He was brought in mainly for recruiting, which seems to be a good move since a few different recruits have already talked about how much them and their families liked him.

who is going to be the new off cord does any one know i have not heard

I talked with a manager i work with yesterday that went to college at purdue. Of course he was trying to say it was such a great college and all. Of course i was telling him that i was a hardcore ut fan. hehe! I told him that ut picked up chaney for the oc job. His eyes got big as saucers and said that he was unaware of that. He said that we got a real gem. I guess his tenure as oc at purdue speaks for itself, saying that they were top 10 in offense while he was there. Anyways he was saying that we got a GREAT hire and that purdue hasn't been the same offense since he left. With that said, i am very optimistic about what he can do for our offense and i think he will get ut back to being a power house! :clapping:

I've heard nothing but good things from Purdue fans about Jim Chaney. I think it's as solid a hire as any Kiffin has made.

Reaves was in charge of recruting at USCjr.

I believe Spurrier did most of the work with the QBs.
