Just wondering why Oku didn't get a lot of touches Saturday? I heard rumors awhile back that David had a falling out with the coaching staff not sure if that's true or not. Regardless I love all four our running backs.

8 carries, 42 yards, 2 TD's...not bad.
there is only one ball!

Bryce Brown RB...... 11-104/1 11-104/1
Tauren Poole RB..... 5-62/0 5-62/0

I thought Kiffin did a good job of spreading the ball around. How many touches do you think he should have gotten?

Hes third string but he only had 3 less carries than Bryce so it wasnt that big of a difference

there at the end maybe the last drive or 2, Kiffin was rotating Oku and Poole one after another. I felt bad for Poole because he got a good run all the way down to the 1 yard line and got pulled and Oku got his 2nd TD of the game

The coaching staff loves Oku....If he was disliked, he would be just above Brandon Warren on the CLK $hitlist.

Hard to return kicks when the other team isn't scoring. I look for him to get some passes out of the backfield this week.

Like has bee said before....there is only one ball to go around.Oku will get plenty of touches for his true freshman year. I don't think he had any type of falling out. Kiffin isn't shy about calling players out just look at brandon warren. We would have heard about it. I am sure david might have felt at first that bryce was getting preferential treatment but that isn't the case. If a player deserves more touches I have every confidence that CLK will get them the ball somehow. Oku will be perfectly and be a superstar for us for many years to come.

Oku will get his touches, we just have Tario and BB ahead of them. This is a good problem to have IMO

Kiffin has packages for him at wideout as well, he just didnt want to waste them on WKU.

Great question and answer article last week with Oku in the Chattanooga Times. It sounded like Kiffin really loves to be around Oku. Said he makes you laugh and always has something to say. Sounded just the opposite. I was very impressed though with Oku as well last Saturday along with the other backs.

On a side note (in response to an above post), I noticed that Hardesty came out twice as we neared the goal line, and BB came in. That's got to be a little tough on a RB. You know they want to see the checkerboards!

This topic brings up another question. Against WKU we rushed 42 times and those were broken down into 18, 11, 8, and 5 carries amongst the 4 backs. Does everyone think we will continue to see similar ratios of carries between these 4 or will it just depend on how close the game is and who is running well that day? Do all 4 continue to consistently get their chances to pound the rock? At some point does Bryce start getting more chances than Hardesty?
