Pass.

Anyone who thinks Cutcliffe would be a good hire is the ones who thinks it’s ok to be mediocre.

He won't come here. Maybe instead of Dooley he would have, if UT hadn't screwed Fulmer, but he won't leave what he's got at Duke.

He would not be my first pick but I know this much.
He can coach, just watch a Duke game. Solid coaching across the field.
He can win games.
He's not a jeck
He would run a clean program
He would most likely bring home some Tennessee people.
Martin, Graham, Dale Jones, Dickey etc

We could do worse

Would have been terrible then too. He is so overrated because of the Mannings.

You know I'm beginning to believe Peyton needs to be removed from ANY input on the coaching search.

He pushed for Cutcliffe to take over for Fulmer, then he talked up Butch Jones to Tennessee. Dude is a great QB but has sowed his field in evaluation of talent.

Starting to feel he would be a PERFECT fit as a GM at Cleveland.

They are use to horrible evaluations

Cutcliffe is a good coach, and he knew how to win in the SEC in the 90's, now I doubt he could recruit well enough against our competition to go better than 5-3.

Props for taking advantage of the weakness in the coastal division in 2013, but that's not saying much considering they are still losing to bad teams as well as the good ones every year.

Fulmer HC, Cutcliffe OC, Chief DC - why not? Let's get this 10 year nightmare/curse over with.

He is too old. I think he is a great O.C. and coach, but I do not think he is a great head coach. Please No

Cutcliffe is a good coach but not what this program needs right now. If they are talking Cutcliffe then they have struck out on most of their list and this program is going no where.

But we want a guy who last coached in the NCAA in 1989. Makes sense.

UT would be about like Ole Miss when he was there.....
