I really think Cut loves it where he is.... I do not think he would come back here anyway.... I think he is to good of friend with CPF to even chance it,,,,

He should because there are no expectations. You are a hero when you win 6+ games at Duke. He got a raw deal at OM but OM is different than UT. You can't win 7-8 games at UT every year and expect to stay a long time. He cant take UT to another level as a head coach.

But what if Cut was coaching Tennessee would you feel he would bring a since of stability . I think so he is a mature coach thats what we need not someone who is learning!

If the university cleans house and fails to get the "big" fish coach, they should go after Cutcliffe and let him bring whomever he wants.

I have been a big Dooley supporter because I feel like the defense is what has cost us games this year, however, he is the head coach and should correct the problem by whatever means neccasary. He has made some bone head mistakes but his biggest mistake to date is not correcting this defensive problem when he knows his a** is on the line.

I agree Cutt is the man he is Tennessee and when he was here we played big time ball. I don't care what people think Cutt would do a great Job thats my gut feeling.

Too old and wouldn't be able to recruit for crap.

:lolabove::loco:

Ummmmmmm, nimrod. Cutt is the one who recruited Peyton to Tennessee and Eli to Ole Miss. He's recruited well enough at Duke to get them to 6-1.

While I like Cutt, I would rather see a big time hire. But good gosh, pull your head out of your butt before you talk, moron. :crazy:

Biggest mistake was hiring Sunseri.

Negative. He would not excite the fan base and he also wouldn't be here but only a few years if hired.

Tennessee needs a big name coach.
