I really, really, really hope it is not true (and crossing my fingers it isn't), but word on the Duke street is that Cutcliffe met with his players this afternoon to tell them he was leaving. . . . .

Another thought... surely we don't have to pay the 'search' firm if we hire Cut.

It's not like we needed help finding him.

Bring back all the Good Ole Boy's. I would rather have Fulmer over Cut, and by far rather have Kippy if we are going to stay in the family.

Yes, but casey clausen wouldn't have done jack without him. And Ainge was WAY better under him than without. Heath Shuler also. face it, the guy can flat out coach qb's.

I also forgot to say brady Quinn when he was at Notre lame. Dude, if that won't get a teenage qb's blood a pumping nothing will. Hi Mom, Hi Dad. I'm looking at schools. This guy put Heath Shuler, Payton Manning, Eli Manning, Erik Ainge, casey Clausen and Brady Quinn. Do you think he would help me get there too?"

Everything I have seen or read is Cut has an offer and is thinking it over. I would take Kippy over Cut.

Huh? He never coached Brady Quinn because he never coached at ND. He had to quit due to health reasons before he ever really started.

some of you people are starting to really tick me off and obviously we're high for about 25 years. WE started to DECLINE only when Cutcliffe left the first time and the second time. WE were never mediocre with him. NEVER. We lost to FL cause Fulmer went coocoo in the game but that's it. We won SEC championshop under him. It was only when he left the last time that our recruiting class went to the toilet and we have been horrible. Know the stats.

Well folks here is to being a joke in the SEC for the next few years, hopefully we'll hire a real coach at some point. I hope UT students riot and burn Hamilton out of his office tonight...

This would mean kippy brown probably stays on, trooper taylor MIGHT come back as OC and chavis might come back also. This would cause a huge recruiting shift. Trooper's recruits would come here and chavis recruits would come here. We would also keep alot of our wr's that our here and alot of our current players. i believe we would still finish with a top 10 class and BRAY would be jumping up and down.
