Hats off to her for rejecting Schiano and getting rid of Currie. Hope this doesn't mean Haslam is taking back control.

It sadly does. Al Davis only thought Lane Kiffin would destroy UT football. He did not get to comment on Jimmy Haslam.

This stresses me out.

I mean, if the Haslems are behind this and try to come in and screw everything up and turn us in the the BROWNS, i mean, somebodys gotta do something, right?

We have been the Browns of the SEC for the last 10 years. I hate this for Pruitt and Fulmer. Asslam just can't keep his hands to himself.

Best I remember she hired Curry at the behest of the Haslems over Coach Fulmer. Maybe this is more of the "reject the Haslems" movement.

Not sure if true but hearing there was an internal struggle over sex week with Big Donors. They wanted it gone and she wanted it to stay.

I hope this is what it is all about.

I also think we the fans need to stand up to any attempts by the Haslams to take over UT athletics...I liked him as Governor. I do not like him in control of UT sports.

Step One: Create a conflict or problem where none existed before. Make this problem so compelling that others will want to see it solved.

Step Two: Use mainstream media to broadcast and publicize the problem. Escalate its importance and play to the emotions of people to the point where they become uncomfortable enough to clamor for a solution.

Step Three: Get what you want by providing that solution and getting everyone on board with it.

This solution is one the public never dreamed it needed until the conditioning of the first two steps was implemented. Most often the outcome is that people think something great has been done for them, when in fact something harmful has been done to them.

Let me clear that up.

You said He didn't control her, that's why she's gone.

Is this your opinion?

Yeah...we’ll go with that. Everything’s cool. Nothing to see here.

Thought you were just gonna sit back and watch.

Looks like it's verbatim of a fireside chat Joe probably had with Bill and Jimmy Haslam:

B/JH: Joe, here's what you're going to do and this is what it should say.

Joe D: Yes sirs.

The more I think about this, I think the proximate cause was Fulmer getting that contract extension. It explains the timing.

Either Bev is the worst chancellor ever or all that is an incredible crock of **** designed to try and fire someone that tried to stand against the system.

I’m going with the latter
