Old and dated have two different meanings. Dated means old fashioned or out of style. I personally don't think either volunteers or lady volunteers are out of style. To each their own however.

I'm not following. You said "Lady Vols" oughta be dumped because it's old. But "Volunteers" is even older and no one thinks it should be dumped. You poothead :)
