The University should have had DiPietro speak with the media last week. That would have shown the appropriate concern and attention. Don't make the coaches do the heavy lifting...And Dave Hart is not high enough in the administration either to speak about this. Unless he is resigning? Falling on his sword??

Not a single "1" of the accusations made so far is true. Not a single "1". All lies! Get your head together. The only thing I worry about is that UT settles out of court, because if they do it will open the flood gates for more wack jobs looking for a huge check. They need to go to court, win, then counter and wipe these fools out.

Statement from UT lawyer...good start


"The facts, as opposed to allegations in a complaint, will demonstrate that the University acted properly in the matters at issue," Bill Ramsey, the attorney representing Tennessee, said in a statement Wednesday night. "We have continuously worked hard to improve our processes and our procedures to ensure that we are doing all that we can to prevent incidents of assault, to support victims of assault and to pursue justice while ensuring due process for those accused. We will vigorously defend all claims in the amended complaint."

I think the leaks are actually good..shows the other side is panicking and wanting UT to settle..and it looks like they are determined not to do that..eliminating Manning is a genius because it will get the headlines and most people will think that the whole lawsuit was thrown out

Bringing a 20 year old incident into this suit does show that they are desperate. UT needs to take the attitude of the Duke Lacrosse team and expose the people behind this suit.

I know I can google it, but I do not remember what came of the Duke situation. I remember it being all over espn when story broke, but do not remember what happened legally if someone does not care to summarize thanks in advance.

I agree. I don't think they believed for a second that UT would actually go to court. I can see them throwing everything including the kitchen sink in the coming days because thats all the have. They are not prepared to go to court. Regarding the Manning thing what if the UT lawyers could call the jack wagon accuser of his to the stand. Seems to me that alone would blow their whole case. I mean, have you heard everything that has come out on her in the past week?
