You guys are slacking. Finebaum told me about this at the same time it broke here. Tisk tisk

Seriously though. Wouldn't want to be sitting where Hart is. Any ideas on what he'll say?

Well, wherever he's sitting is better after the coaches--especially the women--stuck up for him. I know some folks are feeling like they might have been put up to it but I felt it was sincere.

As for what he'll say, I'm guessing he reiterates the coaches' message, expresses commitment to resolve these issues...and maybe puts a bit of an edge on it i.e. we'll defend this university from the twitter/PC mob.

He'll have to explain what the hell was more important than that press conference that he and the booger eater chose not to attend.

Once again he won't be able to speak much on the lawsuit so it'll mostly be fluff. He's basically going to go before the media and get lambasted before he and Cheek take the long, overdue walk out the door.

I hope he gets a little more to the point than the coaches did. They skirted around and that's probably all they should have done. I'd like to hear Hart's answer to some of the tougher questions. He still should be weary of saying too much though probably.

Hopefully the coaches did soften his seat a little.

Good point. That probably will be one of the first questions

Oddly enough this lawsuit doesn't really seem to have much to do with Hart or the current coaches. It's mostly pertaining to University policy and the way student life court is structured. I'm not aware of any coach or athletic department in the country that acts more swiftly or strictly than UT in these types of cases. The question will be more for Cheek and the legal question will be how accused students are handled to adequately protect the alleged victim while still providing some level of due process for the accused. This is not an easy thing because there is no way to do both that I can see.

No sir, it was posted in 2 fb threads and 1 recruiting thread well before this thread was started.

VN is still the place for the latest. :)

The twitter/PC mob just plain ole' sucks! They can sit in an armchair and dictate how the world revolves.

In today's edition of the Chattanooga TFP, one of the sports writers (Weidmer) took a shot at Hart and Cheek for not being at yesterday's press conference.

Nobody cares what Hart says. It'll just keep UT in the headlines for another week. The media isn't going to spin anything positively for UT. The university and UTAD are going to continue to be lambasted for anything and everything until spring practice gives the media something else to cover. Most of them will probably find time to Saban worship and bash UT at the same time, though.

Multiple media outlets took a shot at them for not being there.

Starting to wonder if it might not have to do with the cannon shot fired directly at Butch via the amended lawsuit today. Might he take some action based on the Drae Bowles thing? Might he...oh hell, this is getting beyond crazy.
