Volnation is not only full of the best coaches it apparently is also home to many of the country's best AD's.

One day you all should leave MCDonald's and actually take a position that best utilizes your talents.

Go on. She isnt recruiting worth a crap and the program is heading down. But please explain how a coach that is now having to rely on her players and is losing games we shouldnt is not starting to trun into a dumpster fire. Go ahead and explain.

Hired a coach that got fired from his last school to coach basketball. Yeah real impressive.

You lost me at the recruiting comment. I don't think you follow what goes on. Several games, we only had 6-7 players available. That causes a problem. We have about as many on injured list as the football team. Biggest problem on this team is not hitting shots. Anyone can see that. Why? Who knows. I'm not going to explain the recruiting end because anyone should be aware of how that process goes. It's not a problem.

Check out her 2016 class. It's amazing. Do a little more research before commenting. Second, we were down to 6 players because of injuries and suspensions for one game. We got blown out by mediocre at best va tech. Nevermind, you sont keep up with them.

One last bump for Good Ole Dave....He made some mistakes but I think he left it better than he found it...low bar from Hamilton but I think he did some good things...hopefully John Currie will get us to the top again.

1. Title IX
2. Permitting an outside entity (Nike) to sway influence on Lady Vols trade name then acting like it was something it wasn't - until being called out on it. UT's biggest titles were earned while wearing Addidas where UT maintained all control - 100%.
3. Donnie Tyndall (yes, that was some vetting - NOT)
3a. Barnes hire - this time next year - will be validated or not.
4. Credited for finances (coaching payouts) that came off books regardless of who is AD.
5. Crapped all over longtime SID Bud Ford continuing as school historian. (1st time a retired Vol director was kept from entering press box after retirement).
5a. Failed to honor promotion of John Painter upon Ford retirement. Ignored the late Haywood Harris and Gus Manning preferences on Painter ascending.
6. Made it 5 times harder for folks (UT internal [SID emps] and external media) to do their jobs - living under fear of the 'insubordinate' doctrine when someone noted this is how it's been done - why make it 14 times more difficult - pick up a phone and call.
7. Had no clue who Butch Jones was until newsprint revealed Peyton Manning was doing a favor of Denver-Colorado biz interests to make a phone call to help sell/seal Buffs job.
8. Micro managed catering. Put out one of the worst table fairs ever for Pat Summitt statue unveiling. Then attempted to re-use same food next day at FB game. Classy!
VU media were stunned on Saturday to see clear corn on cob and blackened bbq sand's.
9. Responsible for outsiders taking care of Shields-Watkins Field as cost cutting measure.
10. Agree. A 70 year old with poorly dyed hair.

Overall, Hart did a good job, and got most things to a better place than when he arrived.

However, he had some missteps, and those were taken personally. Making his intention to retire so long before Cheek's replacement was hired? I feel that might have been his dumbest move.

He was tired of the pressure and thought that would ease the fan base.

Bud Ford should be reinstated as UTAD historian, if he wants that job/role--a good man.

It is long past time to modernize the outdated women's basketball team logo, and the term "lady vols" is antiquated and should be retired, though the old diehards cling to it like a security blanket. Holly Warlick should be "retired" asap--she's been disastrous and it is (sadly) astounding that she still has her job.

I disagree about the "Lady Vols" name. I think it gives it a classier sound and it preserves heritage and tradition. And I'm only 28, so not sure I can be considered an "old diehard".
