Living in SC, a lot of their fans are in denial. They think they have a football power school because of a few years of success. That's like thinking Tennessee isn't a football school because we had a few unsuccessful years.

Guys, I'm freaking out. Baylor just fired their coach. Is there any chance Butch will leave and go to Baylor before the season starts? If that happens, do we hire Art Briles, even with our own legal troubles? Or do we just fire Butch now and hire Briles asap?

You are spot on, it's the perfect chance to get Briles. He does wonders with receivers which is our only weakness right now.

I know right. Butch knows how to recruit and run the ball, things that Baylor isn't that great at. I'm sure Butch could help their QBs run the ball better, as that is one of their biggest weaknesses since RGIII left. It just makes too much sense for me not to worry. I'd feel better if we could get Gruden on Cowher, but both of those guys have been announcing for so long, would we even want them? Or are they too good for us? I can't decide.

What I would be more worried about is if someone else on the team screwed up or if we covered something up and with the precedence Baylor just set, CBJ getting fired.
