Does anyone know how to figure the API (think thats what it's called) with all of the departures we could be in a little trouble with a scholly or two docked.

UT won't be able to fill its scholarship alottment with players they've recruited as it is. Maybe not for 2 years. They can only sign 28 or something like that. Even with back counting, I don't think there's anyway they reach 85 scholarship players in '10 except by awarding walk on's scholarships.

What's going on here? How come so many guys from this class are gone?

coaching changes typically bring about transfers or players leaving programs.

2007 class attrition for following schools

Bama - 40%
Auburn - 40%
Tennessee - 47%

all with recent coaching changes

Weed out the loafers and free riders...Keep the ones who are ready to go to war in the SEC! I would rather have 30 players who will fight, scratch, and claw for every yard than have 85 who just don`t care!

Let's just cut the crap. CLK obviously is not a molder of men. He'd rather they just leave.

These players are just looking for the easy way out. That easy way left when Fulmer and staff "left". Good riddance. And anybody else that doesn't buy into the coaches standards.

No, we won't have 85 guys that were recruited with scholarships, but that allows players like the Sullins', Reveiz's, and others that want to give their all for Tennessee.

Not saying it is necessarily a bad thing... I think they were about 20 short this year even before this recent bout of attrition.
