Will you still be here after we win? Will you take your lumps and allow people to make comments or will you run back to your own site? Serious question.

I will be here.......question is can you vols take it? You sound uber-sensitive and would probably cry:) You are super angry to say the least. TBH.....I will be shocked if the game goes the other way but I can handle it. It is just talking on a message board:)

One of you Duck fans-

Is it true that Vol Graduate Asst Peter Sirmon was a GA at Oregon until a few months ago and knows your system inside out?

I think you are. This is not Bama or Florida chocked with all 4 and 5 star talent. They have some, but we have some too. They generally are top 25-30 recruiting classes which are solid, but not spectacular. I am not calling for a win, but we can compete.

This is one of those play it 10 times they win most deals. We just need to win this one and we can.

I read the article and what caught my eye the most was how tiny the QB was. That poor kid is going to get murdered out there. I think Costa will see playing time after the first series. I do hope they have a third string guy too.

This game is make or break game for both teams IMO. Oregon wins, it gives them momentum to try and run the pac50 and play for in a bcs bowl. If we win it put us on everyones radar as a legit threat this year. I really hope the Ducks come in smelling their own **** like Cal did a few years ago....I would give anything to have been in Neyland that night.

Thanks for the update. :good!: Appreciate it. I'm quite happy with the redshirt freshman starting over the senior. Neyland stadium will be a rude intro to college football. Should be fun to see if he lasts the whole game.

rs sophomore, played a little in '08 and shirted last year.

much as i admire costa for sticking with it through the injuries, i am stoked about DT getting the nod.

RECRUITING RANKINGS ARE SEVERELY OVERRATED.

I don't know why SO MANY PEOPLE swear to these dumbass star ratings!

Because the last 5 or 6 national champs have had at least one #1 ranked class.

You're just pissed because Oregon never stacks up well in the recruiting rankings.

No, actually, I'm not. It's just ridiculous how much people take stock in them. I bet Wyoming had a bunch of 5 stars when they beat Tennessee. I bet Boise St. had a bunch of 5 stars when they beat us the past 2 seasons and Oklahoma a few years back.

It is so stupid to base a team's talent off of star rankings.
